One of the current bugs in SCOzilla is the recognition of damage dealt. Sometimes the game does not register a hit on a monster. To combat this, and to kill monsters faster, it is recommended that you move around the monster while attacking it.

Another good idea is to tap the [SPACE BAR] as fast as possible, to get the maximum number of hits possible.

If you are low in health, the only way to get more health is to go up a level. Therefore, you should try to attack the easier monsters in each room, maybe skipping over the harder monsters.

Remember, the only room in which you have to kill all the monsters is the room that contains the "hole" to the next level. Because of this, you can usually not kill all the monsters in a early room in a dungeon, and only kill the later rooms. A side affect of this method is that your player will not be as powerful.
