How to Play SCOzilla

When you first start a game, you will be presented with the back story. When you are done reading the story, press [ENTER], and proceed to the name-entering stage. Enter your name, and press [ENTER], and then select a class you would like to play as.

When you press [ENTER] again, you will be presented with the in-game screen. In the center of the screen, a grey circle, your player sits, waiting your command.

Use the arrow keys to move your player up, down, left and right. Use the [SPACE BAR] to attack enemies.

Monsters are circles of various colours, from yellow to red and beyond. They will attack you quite quickly, so when you first enter the game, be ready to play right away!

When you first start, you are in dungeon level 0. In total, there are 5 dungeons. Each dungeon consits of a 5 by 5 grid of rooms. Not all rooms are "active", so it is a bit like a maze. Your job is to move through the maze, killing monsters, looking for the "level exit". The level exit is a black box in the middle of a room that only appears after all the monsters in that room are dead.

Move your player onto the level exit to move on to the next level.
